Arvind had been working tirelessly, his eyes glued to the flickering screen of his laptop. He was a dedicated employee at a prominent IT company, yet the demands of his job left little room for anything else, including cooking. “I can’t remember the last time I had a proper meal,” he mused.
Rani was young and energetic, her hands skillfully moving as she cooked. Despite her responsibilities as a wife and mother, she took pride in her work, ensuring that Arvind enjoyed every meal. “Today’s curry will be something special,” she thought, a smile on her face.
Arvind remembered he needed old files for his boss and hurried to the storeroom. Seeing the trunk high above, he climbed onto a chair to retrieve it. “Just a little more,” he muttered, straining to pull it down. Suddenly, he lost his balance, crashing to the ground with the trunk pinning him down.
Rani found him writhing in pain, a look of distress on his face. “I can’t move my leg,” he gasped. Without hesitation, Rani assessed the situation. “Hold on, I’ll get you out of here,” she reassured him.
Arvind was astonished, his pain momentarily forgotten as he marveled at her strength. “How is this possible?” he wondered, his respect for Rani growing with each step she took towards the living room.
Arvind looked at Rani with gratitude and awe. “Thank you, Rani. I never knew you were this strong,” he admitted, a newfound admiration in his eyes. “It’s all in a day’s work,” she replied with a modest smile, her strength as unassuming as it was impressive.
